| i read about this. it was human error, he had in mind the ground altitude of their homebase, but this base is higher above sealevel. (altimeter 0) therefore he didnt have enough ground clearance when he came out of the loop (adding throttle wouldnt have worked because his nose was like 45degrees above flight direction and the plane wouldnt have gotten enough speed in this short period of time). pilot was given a desk job |
