exotic can mean foreign, different, uniquely new or experimental nature. So a Hoondad Civic is and "exotic" eco car. Exotic is used for supercars and cars that are close to being a super car. Not all Ferrari's are supercars, the Viper is not a Supercar but it sure isnt a "muscle car" Musclecars have V-8 and are normal cars with lots of power. That also excludes Mustangs and Camaros those are sports cars. Try Chargers, old GTO.

Exotic is more commonly used for Lambo's, Ferrari's, Maserati, Porsche. I have never heard of anyone using that term for a Dodge Viper.

muscle cars were mainly made for regular consumers that wanted more power. I would consider the Viper a high end sports car.

at least it was only the viper that went over the cliff, the 355 costs around £50'000 but the viper costs what something like a fiver? and talk about being a staged race or what, there was no racing at all it was just a way of some bloke to show that he preferc muscle card over sports cars because they were both traveling like the same speed and the 355 just moved over and let the viper through, that is one odd "race"
