actually Aniken is the chosen one, luke was used to bring Anakin back to his senses. it was he who had killed the sith and overcoming the dark side at the end of episode six by throwing palpatine over the rail thus bringing balance to the force. not to mention that anakin was the only jedi to recieve a total of 22,000 midclorins, over 21,000 your the chosen one. luke was just a hope to bring his father back too his sense of nature.
