No the one on the c.d. was live. It was just a recording of the play and they clapped you could hear the people. I was just saying that this sounded different. But that is probably because this a different time period. HAHA!! :)

Bernadette Peters is love - I saw her concert just a few hours ago, and she sang this so beautifully. No recordings do justice to how rich and beautiful a voice she has.

Such incredible material so masterfully performed. This number is such a heartbreaker and Ms. Peters is nothing short of breathtaking. I love everything she does, but I particularly LOVE when she sings Sondheim. She takes his songs and rips them open and makes them her own. Bravo! (to both performer and composer.)

This is the absolute best song ever, preformed by the absolute best singer ever. I saw a taping of her in Sunday in the Park with George. Magnificent. I would cry if I met her. Especially if I heard her sing.
