2D Drawn Animation - Sketching in Real Time ( A M Baig )
Uploaded by: eubasaban
Video Description:
A Quick penciling out of a scene in real time using a wacom tablet in Flash.
This post is specifically for all my generous subscribers and friends on youtube that request advice, tips, tutorials and pointers from me on improving their animation, arcs, timing, spacing, squash, stretch etc...I always work really loose to start and this is my technique of quickly laying down the structure of a scene before any detailed drawing or volume consistency is thought about. Known in 2D as the initial Pencil test or first pass. The focus is on keys and Breakdowns so fluidity and in-betweening is not covered.

super drawing! can you teach us that great work? {Euan}
Thanks again man
ta mate :)
You are very generous. Well this little scribble was done all in flash... I used the default brush with the pressure sensitivity switched on and the second smallest default size brush that's all...Vectors have their benefits but the tools are far less diverse then say photoshop...I know too little about flash give you any more info...sorry!
Thanks again man!
You run laps around our stick figures and best work Hah. I bet every time you watch this you go, "Yeah, I did that. And those comments...I deserve 'em. I am the Man!" Hahaha
Facial expressions put a smile on my face lol
Thanks for the smile Mister.

Yeah it's Flash. Well I never do any serious stuff in it...I mainly use it to practice some skills quickly in the evenings to keep the animation muscles in tact whilst boarding...It can be pushed much further then this but I mostly stick to the good ol paper and pencil! Thanks for asking !
Do you work for disney?
because you should if you don't.
Haha yeah it was my dream to work for Disney since I was 8 years old... unfortunately that never happened, though I was fortunate enough to work with former Disney leads... Now with the shift to CGI I have had to diversify to storyboard but no bad thing, as I was fortunate enough to board for universal's Despereux (Dec 2008). I checked your site and you have a very charming illustrative style. Simple is often effective. I like Maureen Chlorine!
