There has been no true Divas in the Hong Kong music industry ever since Faye Wong and Sammi Cheng. in the 80s, we have had Anita Mui, in the 90s we have had Sally Yeh and Faye Wong, in the beginning ofnew millenium we have had Sammi Cheng. Gone are the days when we had singers who could really sing. Now the HK basically are full of idols who not only couldnt sing but acting cute and sleazing their way into the awards given out every year. I dont bother to listen or even care about them.

There is one HK singer that I believe is decent; Emmie Wong. Otherwise, I listen to Taiwanese singers. They're talented, and they don't pull off the cute act (well not all of them at least.. like Cyndi. I like her music, but her "cute" image gets kind of annoying). I can't stand Jolin but otherwise, I like Taiwan singers better =P
