Macworld SF 2003 part 1

Video Description:
If you could only ever see one Macworld keynote with Steve Jobs, this would be it. In the final half hour of this Macworld, Mr. Jobs was at the top of his game with the audience completely eating out of his hand. Apple had the technology introductions to back it up too: the world's first 17in widescreen notebook, the first full featured 12in notebook, first ever introduction of 802.11g, first ever backlit keyboard, first introduction of firewire 800. With each introduction the audience goes crazy, and Steve continues to bring them out with perfect salesman timing.
This segment begins right after he just got done introducing Keynote for the first time as well, and he gave everyone in the audience a free copy. They were primed.
This 3 part video should serve instructionally for anyone who ever aspired to giving a great presentation. No doubt, Steve Jobs is the master at this, and as I said earlier, this may be his greatest Keynote ever.

Ah, well then, they're ok because if I'm watching a movie I don't wanna see anything but the screen... A backlit keyboard would distract my attention.

Truth is it sucks in many ways. Not that others are perfect; just that this is as ridiculous, at times, as the rest.

The program launchs just as fast as safari and renders pages crazy fast! I wouldn't call it a heavyweight browser, its pretty light :)

Not sure, but if you see the new acers, they have a 16:9 screen. 16:10 screen is taller, less wide, but a 16:9 screen is widder, but less tall.

16:10 is widely becoming the standard for widescreen as that aspect ratio gives people more vertical real estate which you really do miss in widescreen.

I'd love for Steve to refer back to this keynote this Tuesday at the special notebook event keynote :)
Funny he should say, in 2003, that the Powerbook G4 was the best notebook even two years after it was released...because here we are about 7 years later with pretty much the same design, and its still the best designed notebook on the market. Thats a true testament to the design genius of Apple and Jonathan Ive.
