Why did I get negative votes on my comment? I think as a Native American, I should be able to express my hatred for Andrew Jackson without getting a thumbs down. Would noone else agree with me that Andrew Jackson was stupid for pushing as much as he did for Indian Removal? Am I alone here? Maybe Bush isn't that bright but I think Andrew Jackson was stupider. Dude! Dude! Chilll. Calm down. I'm not saying George Bush is a good president. I'm saying that George Bush sucks, but we've had even worse. As an American I admit we're in debt. I've been on a soapbox myself complaining about our debt. But see the difference between America & Canada is that people pay ATTENTION to America. Its not necessarily a good thing that people pay attention to america. As we say here in belgium 'High trees catch more wind'. Maybe thats why we haven't had any terrorist attacks and frankly in think the majority of belgians isn't even afraid of terrorism, it is not our problem, it is yours...(and every other nation stupid enough to join the coalition of the willing).

The canadian prime minister is Harper, I know that and I am from Europe. Its highly egocentrical to think that people in the world only pay attention to the US. Unfortunatly the US wields great influence in the world (especialy with 'aid'programs(we call that buying friends) so it is logical that some aspects of US policy (especialy foreign policy) are highlighted more then those of 'less important' countries. Still WE listen to everyone, maybe you should too (it will help)

Point taken about the tree metaphor. And I know that this tree is going to be knocked over by the wind any day. I know very well we're in the craphole. Another metaphor I like to use is: The higher on a petestal you are the harder it'll hurt when you fall. Once more, I KNOW that. And I'm very sorry if I seemed to be egocentrical.
