Lots of young people have plenty to learn from someone like Arnel. It's not simply about replacing someone like Steve Perry. Arnel knows Perry can never be truly replaced by anyone.But he's now living the dream his Mother had for him.And you can't beat that.

I just hope these guys do right by Arnel. I hope they don't use him up and cast him aside like they did to SP and SA. He doens't deserve that! No one can replace SP to me, but Arnel is singing his heart out and he is clearly a good person. Again, I hope Neil will allow him to do what he needs to do for his voice and his life as they go forward. Good luck Arenl.

Arnel sounds very good...went to Journey's concert 2 weekends ago. He still does not surpass Steve Perry's voice, though. No one ever will.

I've never heard of Journey not until AP joined them. I realized the band is a legend ...good music and vocalists. No one can replace the original SP...I salute him...the rest that follows have their own magic as well. AP is equally talented with a different magic...should be no comparison.

That was incredibly inspirational, Steve Perry left a nearly impossible set of shoes to fill.
Arnel Pineda has done an astonishing job, and he's incredibly humble.
Their latest music is dead on and took over flawlessly were Journey left off. Best of luck and looking forward to seeing them live.

Perry's mark on history that of contributing in making Journey phenomenal will never be erased. The question is will Pineda make his own legacy with Journey? Arnel has been with Journey for less than a year and Journey's new album with Arnel "Revelation" has just gone platinum. Journey just finished a very successful summer tour, not bad for a new lead singer. Journey's future with Arnel? Let's just hope it has a positive impact which is another measure of greatness.

No, no. In several songs the music was rewritten is parts. They changed the endings to a some of the songs as well. They seemed to be going for a live type of feel on the rerecordings.
If you haven't eve got the new package why are arguing about it? You don't know.
