They said it is slow when it is away from Wifi hotspots. Thats not true though. When I had mine I went to Busch Gardens in the tunnels where usually you have no service when you want to look at the animals and bats and I took a picture of them and sent them over e-mail to my friends in New York. It was fine!

i tried it twice at the ATT store (on Edge). i checked out the new york times web site and it came up slow. i tried to click around a bit and it was so slow i got pretty annoyed. and then, youtube just spun away as i waited and waited and waited. slower than slow! i found it intolerable so i didn't get one.

After looking at lots of videos about iPhone, I came to a conclusion that they are completely useless whitout the internet, which is the case in my country, because GPRS is mad expensive.
