I don't know much about Buddhism but in my experience, Buddhists are the most passive and peaceful people on the planet. Communist Chinese? I don't know if we can still classify China as communist. Communism is very serious anti capitalism. China is the fastest growing industrial nation in the world because of capitalism. I think there government has been very dynamic and changed with the times.
What is the dominant religion in China anyway? I always thought Buddhism was. Am I wrong?

Yes, buddhism is the most popular one in China. Here is my little experience: Wholeness is enlightment; the more wholeness is conceived the stonger the enlightment/happiness comes. All the Elements in wholeness could be found in a dictionary or daily life and through learning they all are connected intimately to each other. Communism is a element. So is the capitalism. Souls play the major parts of all activities but they would not be recognized until wholeness can be manifested enough.

Amendment: At this moment I would say Mind and Soul are one thing. Mind has several levels (conscious,sub,super,etc)and soul is the essence of it and powerful in the learning process since it has no borders and is timeless. Spirit is the pure form of Mind. So in essence Mind, Soul, and Spirit are one and like earth layers Spirit is the core with Soul in between.
