First, I cleary stated this guy is good, but his flow and lyrical content is not at same same level as Lupe Fiasco. In fact, lyrically, I can think of artists that are much better.
1. Lupe Fiasco
2. Brother Ali
3. Vakill
4. Wu Tang
5. Ice Cube
Further, from a music perspective, the actual instrumental content is hideously basic. He relies on the current , usualy single note, high-pitched synth sounds and the most basic of basic drum beats with almost zero melody.

Yah, I agree they are slightly different, but they are still within a limited genre (rap). e-40 seems to make more club/party type rap. He is great to listen to, but their is only a modicum of talent here in rapping, and in the song construction.

What's funny is e40's are like some of the tamest ever. He raps about kinda random stuff that you wouldn't know about unless you lived in the Bay Area. Still the only song even the whitest kids can still play as long as they are from The Bay.
