do half reps to get used to the wieght
then rest a few minutes
get soemthing light like 135, and do 30 reps because it feels so light
try to trick your body

im 16 6'3 240i did 25. mostly because i trained with chains. there clips that litterally have chains attached to them. they help with incressing reps and explosiveness. they help a lot. you should think bout getting some.

I do work out my chest. I first thought I was working too hard on it, no improvement. I then decided to work on it a lil' bit harder...still no improvement. My max is and has been 185lbs. I've decided to do push-ups every day but I don't know if it's good for my muscle recovery time, this may also be a problem but I'ma try it anyways.

the next week do 65 and if you ready do
70, then keep going till you reach about
100 lbs, then start getting used to heavy
weight, like doin sets of three and four.

HAHA. You're hysterical. Your muscles have different muscle fibers. You have fast twitch, intermediate, and slow twich muscle fibers. If your bench is maxed at 150, then put on 95 lbs and do 3 sets of 6 reps. Or try doing 5 sets of 5 reps. I had alot of gains doing that routine. This popnig guy has obviously no idea how to workout, and spell. There is no point of doing sets of more than 12-15 reps. But 100 reps? Your going to be tired, but you will never have any real gains from that.

he's right. technically there are different fiber types. the muscular bodybuilders and football players are made of fast twitch muscle fibers. distance runners are made up of slow twitch. slow twitch comes from endurance running and etc. fast twitch is sprinting for seconds not minutes. therefore to technically build the most muscular body and strength, youd use heavier weight and do less reps.
