the evo simply has better track numbers than the sti, that's all that counts for me...i will say that i liked the older sti better than the older evo by far though, but not anymore...

so your willing to pay top dollar on a car that will fall apart after 40,000 miles? the thing that gets me is Subaru's quality way above the Mitsu... the Evo would be nice if you had money to throw away and wanted a weekend track car and your willing to throw money away in fixing the damn thing and keeping it running... if your like every one els and can afford to throw money into a car constantly but still want a nice fast car that you can commute in then the STI wins hands down.

Really, they should bring back the 06' style on the STI. I love Subaru, but the new WRX and STI are just ugly, coming in only the hatchback. Makes me think of a whale, not a fast sports car.The 06' is my favorite. I also love their reliability, especially compared to US cars. I think foreign cars are just better quality, both Mitsubishi and Subaru. But, thats just my 2 cents.

sorry to say but this review is stupid. STI is better because it has telescope d wheel and height adjustable seat? oh yeah, 6 spead gearbox. It looks that only these things were important:D
These models are created to be driven fast. And to justify which is better for reasons mentioned above is just stupid.

I don't know if you guys know this, but the reason Subaru went with a hatchback model (from what a Subaru salesman told me) is that they wanted to participate in the rally, and this year the rally made hatchback required because of safety reasons I think it was.

everyone hates the look of the new subaru i dont mind it i think it looks better in person. Personally i think the back of the evo is a complete fail the back is way to big and the tail lights are ugly.

i agree with stormchaser221...06 sti is by far the best looking sti they ever came out with,that and i own one....they should bring back the sedan version....i aint trading this baby in until then....i went against an evo x and got it right off the line..nothing against evos. in fact if they dont bring back sedan sti,i might trade my baby in with the evo x.

i personally like the hatchback, but theyre never going back to a sedan design for the STI unless they leave WRC because no matter how many STI's they sell its still a homologation rally car and the WRC car has to be based off the production version and the old sedan design had too shitty of aerodynamics to keep up in the rallys
