also... astral images kick ass, but the first appeared in Ninja Spirit by Irem for the Turbografx16 and Arcade. If you love Ninja Gaiden, try out Ninja Spirit on the Virtual Console :L)

impossible to determine! Both are equally good games in their own ways! It is like asking what should I get between Sonic the Hedghog or Super Mario Bros or between Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past and Super Metroid! Too difficult to determine! I would easily get both! It is ONLY 10 U.S dollars anyway (1000 points for BOTH) so just get both!

it's called retro gaming due to nostalgia man! Surely you can tolerate someone playing a classic like this, or have you forgotten that there was greatness like this nearly 20 years ago too? You need to understand that retro is back and it is people like you who are ignorant to understand that not ALL games have to be hardcore and gory to be good! Fun and skillful gaming is also a great part of gaming too!

ninja gaiden reminds me so mouch of castlevania... wait... it actually looks just like it! i mean, annoying freaking flying enemies, you destroy lamps and stuff to get items, and the stages are similar, theres a big guy at the end of the stage, and it just
looks like castlevania. its still a great game though......
