You know static. Being a Christian isn't about those fundamentals. Being a Christian is about you and your relationship with God. No one else. Hope that helps. And trust me, the Christians in the media that give us a bad name annoy me too, but just ignore them. They've lost sight of what it's really about. :3

My dads a pastor and is always trying to convert people into christians. BUT I dont think you can force it on them. It their decision. I mean I would love for them to be a christian but I dont believe in forcing someone into doing something they dont want to do(unless they are like trying to get out of something addicted :/) My parents hate anything metal or hardcore scream. Its kinda funny when i tell them that this band is a christian one :X

i was born and raised catholic but i have choosen to dis-associate myself from organized religion after i started to feel like organized religion corrupted and twisted what was divine and turned it into a business. I still follow the ideas and principles behind the morality i was taught (accepting others, lending aid to those who need it, self-sacrifice) but i often feel cast out by my more actively religious friends. This song makes me think about my life and hope that i still have a chance.

Guyvandrun, couldn't agree more haha. People ask me why I listen to this, it sounds devilish. But you're right, we all have different tastes. If only they knew what UNDERØATH was about!

Dude i totally agree! my friends are like "uh... i thought you were christian?"
They of course dont know the lyrics. It usually happens more with stuff like For Today or Blessthefall rather then Underoath, but either way, they should read the lyrics first >:O
