When he goes to the park hoping the Jake will show up and say hello again, it's just very upsetting. Best movie I've ever seen.
Ahhg the tears just coming rushing into the back of your eyes like blocked rain gutters.
Some people love to share their feelings. I love to share my joy with others, my excitement....
But when it is a deep feeling that moves me, I hate to share it. I hate to see others feeling the same way. All these comments on here saying how this scene moves them.....so even my grief, even my heart is not sacred. Someone was here before me, feeling what I'm feeling. I am just a replica. A failed prototype.
Because if it can be seen by me, then mine can be seen by others...
So I hide between these smiles, these forced bouts of laughter. Ha! Look! Nothing affects me! I just keep on ticking!
I am ashamed of my feelings.
It doesn't matter. Every thought I have, every true smile that has been brought to my lips....they don't matter.
And if someone touches those bars....why, they may just crumble to dust, like bones of a neanderthal caveman, brought into the dirty dusky light of this 21st century world.
A good reminder to be kind to our elders who often times are simply forgotten.
