It is a little technique. Dessay has begun to study late, she has a natural powerful voice but has had a too fast career.
Without a perfect technique the strings have edemas for the effort.

Her performance is technically perfect, but...it's rather boring. I respect her talent greatly, but I dunno, I think she could've been more engaging/engaged in this performance.

Ottima cantante senza dubbio. Tecnica perfetta, ma dovrebbe limitarsi a Offenbach e Rossini. Si può forse spingere al limite con Lucia, ma Verdi richiede più che due gorgheggi. Le mancano voce e pathos per essere la Netrebko.
