You obviously didnt watch the fight! Cotto was clearly winning the first half of the fight landing great combos. It Margos phenominal chin that was the difference. By the 11th Cotto had given everything! A great bout between these two warriors and i hope to see them both go on the great things.
Mayweather was not only too scared to fight Cotto - he was also shook of Margo! He turned down the biggest purse of his career at the time!
Let him go wreastle or rap!

Cotto's performance against Margo in the first 5 rounds would have been enough against most other fighters but Margo's chin is pure granite and survived and won a great fight.
It's true Mayweather avoided Cotto and Margo. Not many know this or perhaps do not like to admit it but he dodged them both.

mayweather would probably outbox him, BUT, he would possible step into deep territory, same with Margarito. I don't think he would lose necessarily or get knocked out, but he would be tested like never before and his perfect record would start looking further away.
