It's a good thing that you're not the arbiter of what is and isn't music, because the world would be much more boring. It's ridiculous to say that because something lacks melody that it isn't music. I could just as easily say that because another piece of music doesn't emphasize syncopation that it's not "music." Do you see how stupid your argument is?
