I think most of your info is out of date even for the date of adding the video...i don't know much about government spending level on education, but it is 14th in the world by the literacy rate, higher than the states..always had an over 99 percent literacy... the resource curse is a question... am not an economist...so my comments would be of minor value...and people moving into kz are not only highly skilled and russiansare coming back and stuff like that...a bit concerned about ur objectivity

when you live side by side for many years , eventually you will accept intermarriage. we don't ask why asians in the states marry white guys etc. it's acceptable, but not as common as you'd think it would be.

they do but not often. However in my opinion,
intermmarige is unproductive for the kazakhs.
Since intermmarying reduces the ethnic diver-
sity within kazakhs.
Additionally these half kazakh, half russian
children will grow up with a russian culture
and language. This is unhelpful that is
trying to unite the country under one
common tongue.

Yes mineral resources can create wealth but also usually make it harder for any other kinds of business to export because mineral wealth means currency tends to go higher so exports of other things become more expensive.

Yes we have oil and other riches its all good I wish we could channel some of those money to infrastructure. Especially building better roads in and between cities. Traffic makes you sick in Almaty. People drive like mad. If it goes on like this, all city dwellers will loose their mental health. If I had choice, I would go overseas and come back after 30 years when all the mess clears out. Only then the oil wealth will trickle down to main street.

Yes, I have seen the oil industry seems rather good in Kazakhstan.
I have been looking at the company Roxi Petroleum and it seems like a really good company. A lot of investors are buying into it and it seems like Kazakhstan is getting a lot of foreign investors.
Anyway, is Kazahstan expected to grow quickly now?
